After the ceremony, he has had to deal with backlash from fans who have been attacking his fiancee, Leanna Lenee, and her alleged inappropriate behavior at the ceremony.
Things only spiraled from there, as Travis Hunter had to sit and watch as pictures and multiple videos came out involving Leanna Lenee and other men. One showed her in a rap video, while another showed her in a more intimate setting with another guy.
The origins of their relationship were a topic this week again, but this time, we got to hear from the two-way star and what happened when he pursued her.
During an episode of the “Kicking it with Dee” podcast, Travis Hunter revealed how Lenee initially ignored his messages when he tried to talk to her.
It wasn’t until her brother saw the messages and gave her a hint of who he was that she finally began to understand.

“Bro, it’s crazy ’cause now her brother is like my best friend,” Hunter said. “He’s here at the house, but he’s at work right now. He’s seen my phone one day and I texted her on Instagram and she never text me back. So, he’s seeing that text message and he’s like ‘You don’t know who this is? You don’t know who this is, bro?’

Travis Hunter Has To Ignore Outside Noise For His Final College Game
After starting this journey at Jackson State, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will play in their final college game this weekend.
In two short seasons, both have helped the Colorado football program return to the national conversation and become one of the top college football teams in the country.
Hunter has had a crazy year that has earned him the Heisman trophy, but it has also earned him unwanted attention due to his relationship off the field.
He now has to ignore that to get his head into his final game as he prepares to be selected in April.
