Colorado’s comeback bid against Colorado State just got a whole lot harder as they’ll be without one of their best players for the remainder of tonight’s game.
According to reports, Buffaloes’ two-way-superstar Travis Hunter was taken to the hospital during their inner-state rivalry. No word yet on exactly what caused his early departure from the game, but many believe it has to do with the cheap-shot he too from Rams safety Henry Blackburn in the first quarter.
The play resulted in a penalty for Colorado State, but now it seems as though Colorado suffered the much greater loss as a result of the unnecessary hit.
Colorado is looking to remain undefeated and move to 3-0 as they enter the toughest part of their schedule going forward. They’ll be in tough for the remainder of this game, however, as they look to avoid the massive upset without their superstar wideout/cornerback.
