Travis Hunter has an important person by his side as he attempts to recover from a dirty hit he suffered on Saturday night.
The University of Colorado rallied for the win over Colorado State on Saturday night but lost two-way star Travis Hunter Hunter when he was taken to a hospital for an evaluation during the third quarter at Folsom Field.
Henry Blackburn made all the wrong headlines during Colorado State’s double-overtime loss to Colorado as he was the one who delivered the hit.
Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders said after the game that he expects Hunter to be out “a few weeks.”
By his side is his girlfriend, Leanna Lenee. She took to Instagram after the game to deliver a message to fans.
“Travis is okay,” she wrote. “Thank you for the prayers.”

Travis and Leanna have been dating for a little more than a year. They met during Travis’ senior year of high school at Collins High School in Suwane, Georgia.
Back in December 2022, Leanna celebrated a milestone by getting her Bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State university.
Colorado stayed undefeated in the 2023 NCAA season, improving to 3-0.
