After his insane performance on Saturday, during the Colorado Buffaloes’ season-opening win against no. 17 ranked TCU, Travis Hunter appears to be a lock to be an early draft pick once he decided to make the jump to the NFL.
And when that time comes, there’s one particular team that the 20-year-old, two-way phenom prefers to play for.
According to the man himself, Hunter claims to be a 49ers fan, but he would like to remain in Colorado and become a member of the Denver Broncos, if given the option.
One teams who Hunter does not seem interested in joining is the Green Bay Packers, despite “everybody” telling him that’s where he’ll land.
I’m sure any and every NFL team would love the opportunity to get Hunter on their roster. Especially after he balled out against TCU, catching 11 passes for 119 yards on offense while chipping in with three tackles and an interception on defense.
It was an inspiring effort from the young man that saw him take part in over 110 snaps. He’ll have exactly one week to recharge ahead of another big battle, this time against Nebraska, in week 2.
