Last night, a video of Deion Sanders addressing the Colorado Buffaloes players went viral.
The new head coach a Colorado made it clear that, coming off a 1-11 season, he would not accept the level of play that the team is currently playing at. But the part that caught most people’s attention was when he told the players in the room that they better start entering the transfer portal, because Coach Prime is bringing his own “luggage” with him.
Based on another video that is now going viral, it appears as though Deion Sanders wasn’t lying.
While watching Sanders’ speech on a livestream, Jackson State defensive back Travis Hunter seemed to hint at his plans to join Deion in Colorado, as he was heard saying, “I’m coming coach. We won’t be having that next year. Them boys better get right.”
Hunter was last year’s No. 1 overall recruit. He made the shocking decision at the time to join Jackson State, becoming the first ever no. 1 recruit to join an HBCU program.

Hunter spent time at cornerback and wide receiver last year, racking up 11 tackles and two interceptions on the defensive end, along with 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns on offense. Now, it looks like he’ll become a big part of the Colorado Buffaloes secondary.
And he’ll be joined by another big-name player in Deion Sanders’ son, Shedeur Sanders.
