Everyone had the same thing to say after a certain player was revealed as a starting cornerback for the Iowa Hawkeyes this month.
It appears that John Nestor will start at CB for Iowa next season. He is listed as a first-string member of the program’s secondary alongside Quinn Schulte, Xavier Nwankpa, and Jermari Harris.
Nestor, a sophomore in 2024, will have an opportunity to establish himself as a top defensive back with the Hawkeyes. He made 10 appearances as a true freshman and recorded a pair of tackles. It’s not typical for the Hawkeyes to play true freshmen, so he should be feeling pretty good about himself.

With training camp approaching and the Iowa Hawkeyes’ depth chart getting disclosed, Nestor’s name has caused quite a stir online.
