Fans are losing their minds after Arch Manning’s rating for “EA Sports College Football 25”, the highly-anticipated videogame that will be released on July 19.
“EA Sports College Football 25” marks the first installment of the popular video game series since “NCAA Football 14,” released 11 years ago. And surprisingly, Arch Manning was one of the highest rated quarterbacks.
As first reported by CBS Sports, the Texas Longhorns signal-caller has been given an initial “College Football 25” rating of 87. That’s a rather high rating for a guy who threw just five pass attempts last season.
As you would have guessed, fans on social media were losing their minds over EA Sports’ awfully generous rating for the man who will serve as Quinn Ewers’ backup again this season:

EA Sports rated Shedeur Sanders (Colorado) and Carson Beck (Georgia) as the top quarterbacks at 93 overall. Arch Manning’s teammate (Ewers is 92 overall) and Dillon Gabriel (Oregon, 92) are just behind them.
Arch Manning is the son of Cooper Manning, the older brother of NFL legends and two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli. Their father, Archie Manning, was an NFL quarterback from 1971 to 1984. He spent the bulk of his career with the New Orleans Saints but also played for the Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings.
Arch Manning Will Get His Chance Soon
Many wondered if Arch would transfer following Ewers’ decision to return for one more year of college football. But the 19-year-old decided to remain in Texas, where he’ll take over as the QB1 when Ewers declares for the NFL Draft.
Arch wouldn’t have stayed with the Longhorns’ program if he hadn’t been optimistic about what head coach Steve Sarkisian and the company could offer. It’s one of the best programs in the nation, and Manning has the fortunes of learning behind one of the best offensive-minded coaches of this generation.
