Ashton Jeanty is the name on everyone’s lips following his most recent outing.
While Colorado’s Travis Hunter is tipped to win the Heisman Trophy this year, many fans reckon Jeanty has a legitimate shot after terrorizing NCAA defenses over the first four games of the season.
The Boise State running back has put up some insane numbers over said spell, making 82 carries for 845 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 10.3 yards per carry.
He’s coming off a sensational performance against Washington State in which he ran with the ball 26 times to the tune of 259 yards and four scores to become the only FBS player with multiple four-TD rushing games this season.
Fans had a hard time understanding what they were looking at when they came across Jeanty’s insane stats this weekend.
“DOES THAT SAY 845 YARDS AND 13 TDS??? IN 4 GAMES???” one asked.
“The funniest thing is like 21 carries a game is a perfectly normal number dude how in the f**k does he have this many yards and TDS,” another posted.

“Didn’t even stat pad against “Portland State”,” someone added.
“Those look like he’s still playing high school football,” a fan pointed out.
“This is the s**t I do on my NCAAF 25 dynasty and tell myself “I gotta chill, this isn’t realistic” 😭😭😭,” said another.
“10.3 yard average lmaoo he’s a walkin 1st down,” a user observed.
“Dudes putting up Barry Sanders numbers,” someone declared.

Ashton Jeanty Has Already Usurped Barry Sanders This Season
Ashton Jeanty broke Barry Sanders’ record for the most rushing yards over a four-game span in his last game. Sanders, who registered 813 yards on the ground over his first four games of the 1988 season, went on to win the Heisman that year.
Jeanty has gotten off to a great start in that regard and hasn’t done his prospects any harm. It will be near impossible to deny him the award if he keeps this up.
