The Texas Longhorns have revealed their game-day uniforms ahead of the marquee matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.
Steve Sarkisian’s men suffered a marginal 20-19 reverse in the matchup against Alabama last season and will get one more swing against them before they (Texas) switch to the SEC in 2024.
The Longhorns have announced that they will wear their “Icy White” jerseys for the game. You can see what they look like in the short clip right below:
Nick Saban’s side beat Texas last year in spite of the 15 penalties they committed; they also logged just 5.5 yards per pass.
On the other end, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers was having himself a game before being forced off the field with a clavicle injury, having completed nine out of 12 pass attempts for 134 yards. Ewers threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns against Rice last weekend but some fans called for him to be benched, with top prospect Arch Manning waiting in the slips.
Ewers, though, is excited for the upcoming game.

“I’m pretty excited for every game I play. I’m definitely fired up to play against them, for sure,” he said. “I think this whole team is fired up to have the opportunity that we have, so we’re all pretty fired up.”
A win could take Texas into the top 10 on the AP Poll.
Alabama, meanwhile, will look to extend its winning streak at home.
