Quinn Ewers will be the starting quarterback for Texas when they play Washington in the Sugar Bowl on Monday, as has been the case all season.
Arch Manning wasn’t even his backup this year, with Maalik Murphy taking over while he was injured. But it appears reporters were way more interested in what Manning had to say during media day.
The Longhorns opted to make Arch available to the media, leaving Quinn out there looking silly as cameras caught him looking back at his teammate getting swarmed by reporters while he just sat there.
That reporters would be keener on speaking to Manning over Ewers shouldn’t be all that surprising given that the former comes from football royalty.
Texas is to blame for this one.
