Quinn Ewers is taking some time to inform the college football world of his decision regarding the upcoming NFL Draft.
The quarterback is expected to return to Texas for the 2024 season after firing them to the CFP semis but hasn’t made an official announcement. That’s because he’s had a few things to take care of after losing the Sugar Bowl to Washington at the beginning of this year.
He’s been taking a bit of stick for his performance vs. the Huskies, with some claiming he’s unlikely to start ahead of Arch Manning if he stays. But Ewers has returned to one of the things he does best as he’s now able to take a load off following a grueling campaign.
The 20-year-old has hit the trail, heading to McCoy, just outside of San Antonio, to hunt deer.
He showed off a massive buck he took down with a vertical bow via Instagram, which is no easy feat. But he is quite skilled with the bow – accuracy is his thing after all.

Ewers shot a buck around the same size in 2022, during the conference championship weekend, though it appears that his latest kill was the biggest he’s ever gotten.
Given that the Longhorns were in the last four this year, he had to wait a while before going on the hunt. Now, we wait for a decision.
