The Texas A&M Aggies came into the 2022 season with so much hype and it resulted in a 5-7 overall record with many considering this year an overwhelming disappointment. To close out the 2022 season, A&M upset its SEC West “rival” LSU, which effectively ruined the Tigers’ chances at reaching the College Football Playoff.
That still wasn’t enough for the program to keep one of its players.
Texas A&M freshman linebacker Ish Harris announced on social media that he was entering the NCAA transfer portal. He had seven stops and a pass breakup in the spring game and is ahead of schedule. However, he did not play a single snap in 2022.
The four-star prospect in the 247 Sports Composite is now making waves on social media after he retweeted a message claiming the “entire class got the bag and said alright let me where I actually want to go lol.”
Outkick reached out to Harris and he claimed the RT was an accident. He also confirmed “he never received a “bag” to play for Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies.”
As a senior in high school, Harris recorded 57 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery in 10 contests. However, he made his name on the offensive side, rushing for 857 yards and 14 touchdowns and adding 19 catches for 211 yards and two touchdowns.
