Tennessee’s football uniforms will look a little bit different during the 2020 season. The Vols posted a brief video Thursday on their Twitter account that showed a glimpse of the new uniforms they’re expected to wear this year.
The 18-second clip shows a player wearing an orange hoodie and a backpack over his shoulders, walking off the field at Neyland Stadium and into the home tunnel toward the Vols’ home locker room.
He then proceeds to enter the locker room, walks to a locker — where an orange No. 20 jersey is hanging — opens the backpack and takes out a pair of white football pants featuring two orange stripes.
Tennessee snapped a two-year run of losing seasons by overcoming a 1-4 start to finish 7-5 and secure a trip to the Gator Bowl. They finished the year 8-5 after overcoming a 13-point fourth quarter deficit against Indiana to win the game.
If the 2020 season happens, their new uniforms will be seen in front of zero fans.
