Max Duggan got Horned Frogs fans fired up one last time, having made an appearance on Monday night.
The beloved quarterback’s college career is over but he still got the crowd going this week, showing during the fourth quarter of a basketball game between TCU and Kansas. Videos of his arrival have since gone viral, with the QB getting fans on their feet after getting to the game late, fashionably at that.
TCU supporters reacted to his arrival with effusive applause and the star responded by waving his arms at the crowd, which hyped them up even more.
Duggan helped fire the Horned Frogs to the College Football Playoff National Championship this past season with a shocking win over Michigan, but they ended their season with a blowout loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.
The QB was well-clad, having received the Davey O’Brien award earlier that night. He took in a few minutes of basketball after becoming TCU’s first-ever recipient of the award, which is named after a former TCU player and given to the best college quarterback every year.

The NFL-bound QB, who is expected to be picked in the third round of this year’s draft, got to the game with just six minutes remaining. But the crowd appreciated the appearance, though it wasn’t enough to inspire a victory as TCU lost 63-58.
