The Tagovailoa Brothers just can’t seem to catch a break these days.
During today’s Big Ten contest between Indiana and Maryland, Terrapins quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa had to be carted off the field after having his leg rolled up on by a defensive player.
Taulia remained on the ground for several minutes before the cart was brought out to take him off the field.
At this point, all we know is that Taulia has a lower right leg injury and he is set for an MRI. The good news is he was seen celebrating his team’s 38-33 victory over the Hoosiers in the locker room after the game.
Hopefully it’s a sign that things aren’t as serious as they initially looked.

Older brother Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion issues have been well–documented in recent weeks.
We did get some good news on that front today, however, as it was reported that the Miami Dolphins quarterback has passed concussion protocol and could return to action next week.
Let’s hope it won’t be long before BOTH Tagovailoa brothers are back on the field playing football.
