LSU star Olivia Dunne could soon have a top rival in both the gymnastics arena and on social media.
Dunne is by far the most popular college athlete in the United States but someone else catching up is entirely possible. There’s already something brewing with social media influencer Breckie Hill while Southern Connecticut State University’s Sydney Smith is also sneaking up.
Smith has been growing in online popularity as a result of her viral videos showcasing her skills and sense of humor.
While Olivia and the Tigers competed in the 2023 SEC Championships this year, Sydney and SCSU participated in the GEC Championships, where they finished seventh with a score of 192.525.

Smith is an all-round gymnastics performer from McLean, Virginia who competes on the bars, beams, and floor.
She has already attracted 1.3 million followers on TikTok and a further 13K on Instagram. Who knows? A NIL contract could be in the not-too-distant future where Smith is concerned. Olivia is already a mega earner in such regard and has the most lucrative deals among females in the NCAA.
Sydney’s TikTok account is similar to Dunne’s in that she also shows off gymnastic feats, sexy outfits, and funny dances.
She’s definitely one to watch for the future.
