On Tuesday, the Texas A&M baseball team hosted the Texas Longhorns when a man wearing a Darth Maul mask with “Trump 2024” painted on his chest ran on the field holding a sign reading “Longhorns suck” before showing his butt.
That wasn’t just a regular fan, it turned out to be freshman Spencer Werner, a Texas A&M cross country and track and field student athlete.
The 19-year-old was arrested on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct/exposure before he posted bail of $2,800.
Werner, who ran on the field at Blue Bell Park, has also been suspended as well.
“Werner was suspended by A&M after his arrest, with the school citing athletic department policy, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Brent Zwerneman.”
Last September, he earned Southeastern Conference’s men’s freshman runner of the week honors.

He should really think twice before engaging in behavior like this in the future.
