Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders once told players to hit the transfer portal because he was “bringing my own luggage with me.”
That was before the 2023 college football season. A ton of players left but a lot more came in.
Now things have changed after a bad season.
On Sunday, the Colorado football program lost its quarterback commit for the 2025 class. Less than 24 hours later, the Buffaloes lost their quarterback commitment for the 2024 class.
It still wasn’t over as a current player is now headed out.
Colorado tight end Caleb Fauria, the son of Buffaloes football legend Christian Fauria, announced he is entering the NCCA transfer portal.

Fauria, a sophomore, did not register a single catch any passes during the 2023 season. He caught three passes for 23 yards as a freshman in 2022.
In four seasons at CU, Fauria battled injuries and played in 17 games, including six this season.
As you can see, this is not a big loss to the program but it is yet another lost player.
Fauria has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
