The Georgia Bulldogs did it! They finally overcame the Alabama Crimson Tide to earn their first National Championship since 1980. It was perhaps the biggest victory in University of Georgia history, as the team avenged their SEC Championship loss one month earlier.
Following the monumental 33-18 victory, the Georgia players were given the customary championship hats to wear on the field as they celebrated their National Title. But it appears as though there was a bit of a mixup, because cameras caught Georgia linebacker Nakobe Dean wearing an Alabama championship hat.
The most likely scenario is that someone gave Dean a hat from the wrong box, and he never even noticed it before putting it on his head. Although, there’s always a chance that Dean somehow got his hands on a Bama hat, and decided to wear it as a way of trolling the Bulldogs’ SEC foes.
Either way, Georgia are the national champions, no matter what Nakobe Dean’s hat says.
