Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is being lauded by fans after making a classy remark about bus CU teammates while speaking to reporters ahead of the Alamo Bowl.
The Buffs are scheduled to play the BYU Cougars in said bowl game this Saturday, having finished the 2024 season with a 9-3 overall record and a 7-2 record in the Big 12.
Deion Sanders fashioned quite a turnaround in Colorado following their 4-8 finish last season and put an exclamation mark on the term with a dominant 52-0 shutout victory against Oklahoma State.
Unfortunately, they fell just short of playoff qualification, but going to a bowl game is no small feat, especially as it will allow Shedeur and Travis Hunter to sign off in style ahead of the NFL Draft.
The Buffs were chosen to play against BYU, with the game set to take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio. While both teams play in the Big 12, they were pitted against each other because of Pac-12 bowl factors, which remained despite the conference shutting down after the 2023 season.
Colorado is set to participate as a legacy Pac-12 entrant.
