The Michigan Wolverines’ 2022 NCAA football season ended nine days ago, but much of the Twitter world was still talking about Jim Harbaugh during Monday’s National Championship Game.
The TCU Horned Frogs were no match for the defending champion Georgia Bulldogs, who cruised to their second straight national title. Because TCU lost so soundly, the Twitter world couldn’t help but poke fun at Harbaugh and his Wolverines for losing to them in the semifinals.

Michigan won their first 13 games, highlighted by a 45-23 blowout win over the archrival Ohio State Buckeyes 45-23. The Wolverines qualified for the final four but lost a heartbreaker 51-45 to the surprising Horned Frogs.
In recent days, rumors and reports about Harbaugh potentially going back to the NFL have ramped up. He reportedly initiated meetings with the Carolina Panthers about their head coaching position, and the Denver Broncos apparently have him on their radar as well.
Harbaugh’s first NFL head coaching gig was a massive success. He coached the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014, leading them to three straight NFC Championship Games and an appearance in Super Bowl 47.
