Fans were overjoyed following news of ESPN’s latest hire, expressing their excitement online.
Former Olympic star gymnast Aly Raisman has gotten a new job with The Worldwide Leader in Sports this week and is set to get right into it as she will be covering Friday’s meet between Kentucky and LSU.
“I’m excited to be part of the ESPN gymnastics team and share my passion and love for the sport in a new way,” she said, via ESPN Press Room.
“It’s been so fun to watch these incredible athletes and see how much gymnastics continues to grow. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and the opportunity to try something different within the sport.”
NFL Network’s Jamie Erdahl offered congratulations via X.
“Proud of you @Aly_Raisman you’re ready!” she wrote.
