Spring season is in the air here in North America…but folks attending the University of Colorado Buffaloes’ spring game better have put their best winter gear on.
Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III shared a video of stadium workers clearing out the snow on the field for the Buffaloes’ game.
There’s plenty of hype around this spring game for obvious reasons. Fans will get their first look at Deion Sanders as the club’s new head coach, just over four months before the team opens its season against the TCU Horned Frogs on Sept. 2.
TCU was the ultimate surprise story of 2022, going all the way to the national championship game, where they fell to the Georgia Bulldogs.
The University of Colorado signed Sanders to take over as their new head coach following his successful three-year run at Jackson State. Sanders went 27-6 during his tenure at the school, leading the Tigers to consecutive SWAP Championship Game victories in 2021 and 2022.
Widely regarded as the greatest NFL cornerback of all time, Sanders won two Super Bowl rings and took home Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1994. The 55-year-old was named to eight Pro Bowls in his Hall of Fame career.
