Ohio State fans aren’t going to like this one.
A few days ago, the Buckeyes had a comfortable 16-0 lead in the second quarter and had just sacked Trevor Lawrence on a 4th down play that would’ve given them excellent field position to score again before halftime.
Unfortunately, Buckeyes DB Shaun Wade was called for targeting on a hit of QB Trevor Lawrence and he was promptly ejected from the game.
That play would spark the Tigers to score 14 points and put the game back into reach.
On Thursday, a Buckeye fan account posted a side-by-side video showing an actual targeting hit from the Peach Bowl that was compared to the hit on Trevor Lawrence.

Yeah, the Buckeyes got screwed big time.
Without that brutal call, the Ohio State Buckeyes are likely in the National Championship game against the LSU Tigers.
