Deion Sanders’ boys have provided us with several highlights this season, but they were on the wrong end of this one.
During the first half of Colorado’s game against the Arizona Sun Devils, ASU wideout Melquan Stovall took a pass over the middle and encountered Buffaloes’ safety Shilo Sanders while making his way down the field.
Shilo attempted to stop Stovall, but it didn’t quite work out at planned, as he was hit with a nasty stiff arm that dropped him to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Not a good look for Shilo, but I guess it comes with the territory of being a safety in a power five conference.
Shilo and the Buffs are currently locked in a tight one with ASU, as they trailed 17-14 at the half in Tempe. Colorado entered the contest on a two-game skid, having dropped their last two games to Oregon and USC.
