Deion Sanders hasn’t been as vocal this Spring, but that is because his children are doing much of the work to help him out with the Colorado Buffaloes.
The college football spring transfer portal window is officially open, which means players will be headed to whatever program they think will give them the best shot to showcase their talents.
In an attempt to identify a landing location where they may extend their playing time or improve their NIL earnings in certain situations, players from around the nation will enter their names into the site. The Colorado Buffaloes are one of those locations.
Led by head coach Deion Sanders, the Colorado Buffaloes hope to have much better players to help them rebound from a disappointing 2023 season.
Deion famously told Colorado Buffaloes players to hit the transfer portal when he got signed on, and he brought in as many as 50 transfers before his first season. So far, he has already landed 25 transfers ahead of 2024.
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his brother, Buffaloes cornerback Shilo Sanders, are helping in this matter by recruiting players via Instagram on the NCAA transfer portal.
Shilo posted a message that told the defensive player transfer to message him while the offensive player transfers are to contact Shedeur.

Shilo Sanders also wanted to make clear that Colorado is not Last Chance U, referencing the documentary series that chronicled players overcoming serious adversities and playing junior college football in hopes of brighter futures.
Colorado Buffaloes Started Out Hot & Then Failed Miserably During The 2023 Season
The Colorado Buffaloes were the toast of the entire country as the team started hot at 3-0 last year. However, the team fell quick and hard as they went just 1-8 in the Pac-12, finishing in last place.
The Deion Sanders era started with a 4-8 record in his first season, via ESPN.com.
2024 is looking much better.
