Shedeur Sanders has made the ‘watch flex’ his thing, but on Saturday night he may have taken it too far.
Following a thrilling 27-24 victory over Arizona State in Tempe, the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback ran down to the students’ section at Mountain America Stadium and flexed his watch to all of the Sun Devils fans in attendance.
Some will argue that Shedeur earned the right to flex on the ASU fans after his beautiful pass set the Buffs up for the game-winning field goal with no time left on the clock.
However, many football fans on social media thought it was a but much after beating “a team that is 1-4 and the worst team in the conference,” as one fan put it.

While everyone enjoys seeing some trash talk between heated rivals, it appears as though Shedeur’s act is wearing thin on some. I, for one, have no issue with the way he’s conducted himself. There’s no harm in flaunting in front of the opposing fans after a big win — and considering where this Colorado program came from, every win is pretty big right now.
Criticize his actions all you want, but there’s no questioning whether Shedeur cares. Like his dad, this young man wears his heart on his sleeve.
With the win, the Buffaloes snapped a two-game losing streak and moved to 4-2 on the season.
