A trio of top college programs have been named as potential transfer destinations for Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders following a rough campaign.
Shedeur threw for 3,230 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions in his first season with the Buffaloes, completing 69.3 percent of his attempts. He also rushed for 11 yards and got into the end zone four times.
While it was still an impressive output despite CU’s 4-8 record, Shedeur experienced a lot of difficulty as his offensive line did not offer adequate protection. He was the most sacked QB in the nation with 52 and ended the season with a back fracture that kept him out of the Buffaloes’ final game of the campaign.
The 21-year-old is now being urged to enter the transfer portal to save his career.
Three schools have been named as potential destinations, with Ohio State, Florida State, and LSU offering great situations.
For the Buckeyes, Kyle McCord isn’t rated as a starter while the other two programs don’t have one for next season as yet.

There are a few problems, though. For one, Shedeur wouldn’t dream of leaving his dad, Deion Sanders. He will likely trust him to find solutions via recruitment, as well as the portal. There’s also the fact that the quarterback has already transferred once, having followed Coach Prime from Jackson State to Boulder.
He’s staying put in all likelihood.
