Shedeur Sanders did not have the best game in the first half of a contest that not many thought would be as competitive as it turned out to be.
Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes needed to dig deep but they somehow pulled off the win over Colorado State, which avoided a major upset. Sanders brought the team back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter and then had two touchdown passes in the two overtimes to give Colorado the 43-35 victory over the Rams in Boulder.
The biggest moment was when Sanders led the No. 18 Buffaloes on a 98-yard touchdown drive.
After the game, the quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes made sure he was going to troll Colorado State by rocking sunglasses. This was clearly a shot at the opposing head coach who took shots Deion for wearing caps and glasses when speaking to people.
Shedeur made it clear that Colorado State was “disrespecting pops.” He also stated he went into “Brady mode” as the team left way too much time on the clock during his 98-yard drive.

“We like those high-pressure moments,” the quarterback said. “That’s what we live in, and I honestly wish the whole game was like that. That’s when I think we excel. In my own mind, I was thinking about (Tom) Brady. He does it all the time.”
Sanders finished the game 38-of-47 for 348 yards, four touchdown passes, and an interception. Two of his touchdowns came in the overtime period. He also led Colorado on a 98-yard touchdown drive and 2-point conversion to tie the game and send it into overtime.
Colorado moved to 3-0 with the win but the schedule isn’t getting any easier. Colorado has Oregon next week and USC the week after.
