Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders seriously cannot catch a break on and off the field.
The Colorado Buffaloes football program has been the subject of many parking violations this year. One player on the team has received more than 50 parking tickets while head coach Deion Sanders even received a parking ticket.
Shedeur Sanders is now catching heat after CU parking police booted his black Rolls-Royce in a lot near the Champion Center as CU’s Sports Information’s Payton Craft posted it on social media.
“Sanders got ticketed with a wheel clamp days before Colorado’s game with 23rd-ranked Arizona. This isn’t an isolated incident by CU campus patrol and is the latest in a string of ongoing issues. At least eight players had their cars towed for parking near the practice bubble down the hill over the summer. A hefty couple hundred dollars was charged by the towing service to get cars out of impound.”
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan car that Shedeur bought has a starting price tag of close to $350,000.
Shadeur Sanders was once considered an early-season Heisman candidate, throwing for 1,251 yards and 10 touchdowns against one interception while leading Colorado to a 3-0 record.

Things have changed as Colorado lost for the fifth time in the past six games, dropping a 26-19 decision to Oregon State and putting their record at 4-5.
Colorado must win two of its final three games — at home against Arizona and on the road against Washington State and Utah — to become bowl-eligible. With the way this team has been playing and the punishment dished out to Sanders, it is unlikely to have a happy ending in 2023.
