On Friday, it was revealed that one Pac-12 coach felt Colorado star quarterback Shedeur Sanders was taking sacks on purpose.
The accusation was a wild one, but there was also some logic behind it, with the anonymous coach claiming Shedeur was simply trying to improve his completion percentage by holding onto the ball rather than throwing it away when he should.
He also accused Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes of attempting to pad Shedeur’s stats as he looks to be one of the top quarterbacks selected in the 2024 or 2025 NFL Draft.
Shedeur almost immediately caught wind of these comments, and it didn’t take him long to respond.
In the latest behind the scenes episode of the Colorado Buffaloes from “Well Off Media,” Shedeur tells the camera, “That coach whoever said that is goofy. He lame. And put that in the video. I wish it was on Instagram. On god, I would have responded to that.”

Shedeur will have another opportunity to pad his stats later today as his Buffaloes look to snap a two-game losing streak when they visit Arizona State.
