Colorado Buffaloes’ quarterback Shedeur Sanders is not part of the crowd that believes in “moral victories.”
The Buffaloes dropped their second straight contest on Thursday, falling 48-41 to the Caleb Williams-led USC Trojans on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Buffaloes are now 3-2 on the year.
After the loss, a reporter asked Sanders if he believes “in moral victories”. The 21-year-old kept it blunt and said, “I don’t know what that means.”
Shedeur did his part in keeping Colorado in the game, tossing 371 yards and four touchdowns against one interception. But the Buffs’ sloppy first half proved to be the difference, as the Trojans did just enough to hold on for a close win.
Colorado will try to rebound next week when they visit Arizona State.
