Colorado Buffaloes QB1 Shedeur Sanders is making the most out of his NIL deal and starter label with an incredible gift to his teammates.
Sanders decided to help his team have a more enjoyable flight by gifting the entire team with Beats By Dre Headphones. Sanders, who everyone was expecting to be named the starter, went above and beyond for his team, and if didn’t win them over before, should easily have them now. Sanders is famously sponsored by the headphone company and used his deal to help out teammates.
Sanders, along with his father and coach Deion Sanders, left Jackson State for Colorado in 2023. During their time in Jackson State, they enjoyed back to back division championships, going 11-2 and 12-1 in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Shedeur Sanders gained national attention as a potential Heisman trophy candidate with over 7,000 passing yards and 70 touchdowns in his time in Jackson.
Colorado opens up their football season vs the #17 ranked TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday, September 2nd in Fort Worth. Colorado looks to improve with Sanders under center.
Whether the headphones work for the team against the BCS Championship runner up remains to be seen, but the gesture will go a long way.
