A college football analyst thinks that Colorado Buffaloes’ star quarterback Shedeur Sanders could make eight figures alone in NIL deals next year.
After years of controversy and criticism, the the NCAA finally changed its rules on name, image and likeness (NIL) in 2021. This change allowed all NCAA athletes to earn money through NIL deals.
During an appearance on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd”, FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt explained that he believes the Buffaloes’ QB could make $10 million in NIL deals, should he decide to return to college next year.
“I think Shedeur might be able to make $10 million,” Klatt said. “We have no idea what his ceiling is from an NIL perspective.”
Shedeur is draft eligible for next year, and he’s already among the front-runners to win the 2023 Heisman. But his father, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, claimed that Shedeur will be with the Buffaloes next year.
