Shedeur Sanders tore Nebraska apart on the field today. And he continued to take aim at the Cornhuskers during his post-game press conference.
While speaking to the media, the Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback made it known that today’s 36-14 victory over their rivals was “extremely personal,” thanks to their head coach, Matt Rhule.
The former Carolina Panthers head coach had made some remarks about Deion Sanders and the Colorado program over the course of the summer, and the Buffaloes made him eat those words both during and after today’s game.
While speaking to the media during his post-game press conference, Shedeur took direct aim at Rhule for all of his “disrespectful” actions leading up to today’s contest:
Shedeur also called out Rhule and the Cornhuskers for trying to stand on the team’s logo before the game.
The surprise Heisman candidate clearly felt disrespected, and he made Rhule and his Nebraska players pay. Shedeur finished the game with two touchdowns through the air and another on the ground, as his Buffaloes are now 2-0 entering next week’s game against in-state rivals Colorado State.

The Rams would be wise not to disrespect Shedeur or his dad ahead of next weekend’s game. That type of thing hasn’t worked out well for Colorado’s opponents so far.
