Deion Sanders’ first season in charge of Colorado is over. There will be no more football for the Buffaloes in 2023 as they’ve ended the campaign with a 4-8 record, two wins shy of bowl eligibility.
Given the way things have gone since the hot, 3-0 start, quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback Travis Hunter have both been linked with a transfer to another program. More so, they’ve been encouraged to consider a move as Coach Prime’s project is going to take some time, which they don’t have much of.
The CU stars are being urged to weigh up transfers to Florida State as Shedeur would have an opportunity to finish his college career at his father’s alma mater while Travis would also be following his idol’s footsteps and join a program with a history of producing some of the best defensive backs and wide receivers over the years.
They would also both get a shot at winning a National Championship.
Hunter once committed to FSU before Prime flipped him for Jackson State. The younger Sanders also flipped his commitment from Florida Atlantic to play for the Tigers.
Shedeur has one year of eligibility left while Travis won’t be able to declare for the NFL Draft until 2025.

Of course, this is unlikely to happen. Both players believe in what Deion is doing in Boulder and expect a much better second season because of the recruitment set to take place.
