The Rutgers Scarlet Knights pulled off an insane play against the Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday, gaining some serious yardage on what appeared to be a fake “Brotherly Shove” that could have also been a fumblerooski.
The Philadelphia Eagles have been abusing opponents with a bespoke version of the Quarterback Sneak that’s been near unstoppable and ran a fake version for a score against the Washington Commanders last week.
It appears one of the Rutgers plays was inspired by the reigning NFC champions as they lined up like they were going to force their way into short yardage but ended up handing the ball to running back Kyle Monangai after the snap for a gain of 45 yards.
It also seemed like they pretended to fumble the football – they certainly got the commentators to think so.

The 8-0 Buckeyes were leading 14-9 late in the third quarter at the time of writing.
