The rumored price for EA Sports College Football 25 has been revealed ahead of the video game’s highly-anticipated release.
The title is set to drop this summer after a hiatus lasting nearly a decade. And fans can’t wait.
According to the chat on social media, the base version of the game will be selling for $69.99, which is a bit high but also typical of new games in the next-gen era.
A special Heisman edition is also dropping for a reported $149.99, probably not so typical.
“Dude what could possibly be in the game for $150?” a user wondered.
“For $150 they better be taking Reggie’s heisman again and giving it to me,” another joked.

“EA is about to bank so hard off of this game’s anticipation. What could possibly be in the game to warrant a $150 edition?” asked another.
“$150 hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha they’re smoking crack that’s over double the price of a normal game a deluxe is usually $100,” a user wrote. “Not a good start.”

No Release Date Has Been Announced For College Football 25
Meanwhile, College Football 25’s official cover is scheduled for a reveal this Thursday. However, no launch date has been announced just yet.
In any case, it’s coming out this summer, before the start of the 2024 college football season, so it could be out by July, although some sources have pointed to August.
Matt Brown of the Extra Points newsletter has been one of the more reliable sources where updates are concerned. He claimed it was “tentatively scheduled” for release on Friday, July 19 back in April.
