The city of Los Angeles has suffered immensely since the Palisades Fire erupted just last week, and there have been many homes and historic landmarks lost to the tragic flames. Fortunately, there is one bright spot for families, as the Rose Bowl Stadium is helping however it can.
Families affected by the Palisades Fire have been forced out of their homes due to the burning of houses or inferior air quality. The fires have been burning since January 7th, and the death toll has now risen to over 20.
As mentioned, many homes and businesses have been lost to the extreme flames. However, there is one bright spot for these families. The Rose Bowl Stadium offers a safe place for everyone affected by the fire to stay somewhat out of harm’s way.
Photos outside the iconic Stadium have been released. Thousands of tents have been erected outside. Families have taken refuge outside the stadium, waiting for updates on their homes and the fire.

The Rose Bowl Is Helping Fire Refugees
According to the stadium’s X account, it has become an “emergency response efforts center.” This comes just months after the stadium hosted nearly 90,000 fans between the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes at the Rose Bowl.

The Buckeyes would come out on top in the big game by a score of 41-21 during the New Year’s Day match-up, just a week before the Palisades Fire would unfortunately begin ravaging parts of Los Angeles.
The wildfires have not affected the stadium, but many homes have been affected. We would like to send our many condolences to all the families affected by this horrible and unfortunate tragedy.
