We’re still in the early stages of the 2023 NCAA football season, but it’s hard to imagine anybody topping the highlight reel catch made by Florida Gators’ wide receiver Ricky Pearsall on Saturday.
To borrow a quote from the legendary Al Michaels, Pearsall was this week’s winner of “He did what?” by hauling in this ridiculous one-handed catch during Saturday’s home game against the Charlotte 49ers:

Pearsall finished the day as Florida’s leading receiver with 104 yards on six catches. Quarterback Graham Mertz had a near-perfect day with 20 completions on 23 attempts for 259 yards and a touchdown.
With the victory, the Gators improved to 3-1 on the season. Florida will try to move to 4-1 when they visit the Kentucky Wildcats next Sunday.
