Brenna Greene, the reporter who spoke to Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel on Monday, set the record straight about their interview that quickly went viral.
Dillon Gabriel made headlines during their interview for one peculiar reason, with folks accusing the Oregon star of being “high” while he spoke to Greene. When she posted the video on X/Twitter, Greene made a joke about Gabriel being a “morning person.”

In a follow-up post, Brenna Greene clarified that Dillon Gabriel wasn’t at all high during their interview. She came to the defense of Gabriel, noting that he was probably exhausted since media day began early at 8:00 a.m., and that he was highly sought among reporters.
