Caitlin Clark has not played a single second of basketball in the WNBA and she is already changing the league for the better.
The two-time WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces are already a hot ticket in the league, but they don’t hold a candle to what Caitlin Clark can do when it comes to fan attendance and viewership.
The Las Vegas Aces are moving their July 2 home game against the Indiana Fever from Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay to the larger T-Mobile Arena, the team announced on Friday, via 3News.com.
The decision to move it is because the team will be facing Caitlin Clark on that night and she hasn’t even been drafted yet. However, it is a foregone conclusion that she will be selected with the number one overall draft pick and Indiana holds the top pick.
Clark has proven to have immense popularity, helping bring a record 12.3 million viewers last weekend for an Elite Eight game against Angel Reese and LSU.
Now that the venue has changed, the Las Vegas Aces can sell 8,000 more tickets that will surely fly off the shelves. Tickets for the Aces-Fever game will be available on April 10 at 10 a.m.

Also on Friday, the Las Vegas Aces announced that they had already sold out five home games and fully expect the game against the Fever with Caitlin Clark on the floor to be the hottest ticket of them all.
Among the sellouts is the season opener against Phoenix on May 14, when the Aces will raise their 2023 championship banner.
