The last thing the Tennessee Vols needed were more issues with players on the team behaving badly off the field, but that’s exactly what happened this week.
Three Tennessee football players have been arrested on drug charges in connection with an incident Tuesday night at a campus residence hall.
Second-year linebacker Martavius French and incoming recruits Aaron Willis and Isaac Washington were among many people arrested on charges of simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
A Stokely Hall resident was assaulted by one man, while “three to four other males entered the residence and went to another room in the apartment where it was believed they took items belonging to the victim.”
French was a four-star prospect coming out of high school. Willis is a freshman and one of the top inside linebackers in the country while Washington is a three-star defensive tackle who hails from North Carolina.
