Tennessee running back Tim Jordan has reportedly been arrested on gun and drug charges near his home in Florida.
The Volunteers running back was spotted speeding and swerving into a bike lane by police on Saturday, per Travis Dorman of Knox News. Officers noticed a “strong odor of cannabis emanating from inside” which led to Jordan telling them that he was carrying a gun without a concealed carry permit.
The 20-year-old was arrested and faces charges of “carrying a concealed firearm, possessing narcotic paraphernalia and possessing 20 grams or less of cannabis.”
In 31 games played during his career, Jordan carried the ball 247 times for 1,002 yards and four touchdowns while adding 26 receptions for 227 yards.
