Shedeur Sanders is one of the most interesting prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. He’s an amazing prospect, and many don’t have a clear projection of where he’ll land, but the early first round is extremely likely.
Of course, a big part of the draft is trying to identify which team will pursue certain players, and a team might have revealed itself as a suitor. That squad is the quarterback-needy Las Vegas Raiders.
These rumors don’t come out of the blue as they circle around the recent interactions between Sanders and the Raiders owner, Mark Davis.
Recently, the WNBA team in Las Vegas, the Aces, hosted the New York Liberty in a playoff matchup. Of course, Davis also owns the Aces.
After the game, Shedeur and Davis were spotted shaking hands, laughing, and conversing.

The move would make sense for the Raiders as they currently have Gardner Minshew as the starter, who seems to be in an ongoing battle with Aiden O’Connell for the spot.
Based on talent and ceiling alone, Sanders would immediately become the best quarterback on the roster and would have a serious chance of being the Week 1 starter as a rookie, which is something many teams have been avoiding.
Shedeur Sanders And Colorado Will Look To Improve To 5-1 Next Week
With a bye week in Colorado, the Buffaloes and Shedeur Sanders won’t play again until Oct. 12 against the Kansas State Wildcats.
This will likely be their biggest test of the season because, as of now, Kansas is the 20th-ranked team in the country and has a 4-1 record.
Of course, both teams being in the Big 12 means this game could also have some serious College Football Playoff implications.
