A new betting favorite has emerged to land Texas Longhorns signal-caller Arch Manning.
As expected, Texas starting QB Quinn Ewers announced earlier this week that he’ll be returning for another year of college ball. With Ewers a virtual lock to retain the starting QB Job, many wonder if Manning will eye the opportunity to shine elsewhere.
According to the latest odds at BetOnline, the LSU Tigers are the new favorites to land Manning at 2/1, followed by the North Carolina Tar Heels at 3/1. Interestingly, the Tulane Green Wave have the third-best odds at 5/1, followed by the Alabama Crimson Tide at 6/1.
2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels is leaving LSU to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, which he already declared for. Ditto for North Carolina QB Drake Maye, widely projected to be a top-three pick in the draft.
Arch is the son of Cooper Manning, the oldest child of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning. Cooper’s two younger brothers, Peyton and Eli Manning, are former star NFL QBs who each won a pair of Super Bowl championship rings.
