Welcome to the world of NIL deals and the backlash of certain players not receiving some and being upset about it.
In the National Football League, when a player is upset about his current contract, he will try to use his leverage over the team by holding out of training camp or even the actual season. Well, we are now reportedly experiencing a holdout in the college ranks.
According to Ingram Smith of The Nolecast, the No. 1 FSU football podcast in the nation, Florida State cornerback Jarvis Brownlee seems to be holding out of practice because he has not received an NIL deal from anybody.
Reports suggests that he actually has one in place, but is currently ineligible.

The reports also seem to suggest that the starter for Florida State last season and four-star recruit out of high school will not be suiting up this spring until that is sorted out.
Last season, Brownlee had 53 tackles and two interceptions.
