Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes may be losing one of their top recruits to a rival team
Earlier this month, five-star recruit and standout offensive lineman Jordan Seaton committed to joining the Buffaloes. But judging by his recent X/Twitter activity, it appears as though Seaton is reconsidering his commitment to Boulder:
Not only that, but Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports report that the Buffaloes’ rivals, the Oregon Ducks, are among the clubs that could be in the mix for Seaton. The Tennessee Volunteers and Ohio State Buckeyes could also contend for Seaton’s services, according to Wiltfong:
“Going into that announcement Tennessee, Oregon and Ohio State were three programs that had some buzz to it. Ducks head Coach Dan Lanning went in-home with Seaton after he gave his verbal to Sanders and company. Another program that hasn’t gone away is Maryland. Head coach Mike Locksley is one of Seaton’s longest-standing relationships, and originally coming up with Washington (DC) St. John’s, he has a lot of ties to the region.”
As well, Andrew Nemec of Sports Illustrated reports that “Oregon and Dan Lanning have made an obvious push to try to flip” Seaton. It was noted that Seaton and Lanning recently had an in-person meeting.

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion, was the most-sacked quarterback in the country this season (52). After a 28-16 loss to UCLA on Oct. 28, Coach Prime warned that they’d have to get new offensive linemen.
Last week, the Buffaloes got a big boost on the o-line when Matthew Bedford announced his transfer from Indiana to Colorado. The Buffaloes have also landed Justin Miner (UTEP), Tyler Johnson (Texas and Houston), Kahlil Benson (Indiana), Yakiri Walker (UConn) and Issiah Walker Jr. (Butler Community College).
The Buffaloes finished 4-8 in Prime Time’s first season as head coach. Clearly, a revamped and improved o-line will go a long way in getting this team back on track next year.
