Deion Sanders is one of the most influential college football coaches. He currently coaches the Colorado Buffaloes, and the team is one of the better teams in the country right now. He is also quarterbacked by his son, Shedeur Sanders.
So far, in the 2024 college football season, the Buffaloes have a record of four wins and just one loss. Their one loss came in week two of the season against the Dylan Raiola-led Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Coach Prime wants what is best for his son’s career, and the NIL deals are helping to prolong his college football days. So, theoretically, Shedeur could play in Colorado until he lands at the spot his father wants, which, according to some reports, is a surprising team in the AFC.
According to NFL Rumors on X, Deion Sanders finally has suggested a team he would like Shedeur to headline in the 2025 NFL season following the 2025 NFL Draft. Who is that team? None other than the Miami Dolphins.
Deion Sanders Reportedly Says Shedeur Sanders Should Play For The Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins may be a controversial team for the former Dallas Cowboys star to decide for his son as the team is unsure about their quarterback situation following an injury to star signal caller Tua Tagovailoa.

The reason that the decision may be controversial is due to the uncertainty about Tua’s injury, as there is currently no word on whether or not the 26-year-old plans to return to the NFL after suffering four concussions in three seasons.
For Shedeur to play for the Dolphins in 2025, Tua would have to be out of a job in Miami after signing a massive contract extension this off-season. It’s unlikely that he will, despite being advised by many around the league to retire after suffering his fourth career concussion.
While it is still a long way away, it remains to be seen where Sanders will end up for the 2025 season and whether Coach Prime will approve of where his son lands in the NFL Draft.
