Aside from the taunting that everybody is talking about, there was another moment in the game that had fans really upset.
Iowa star guard Caitlin Clark received a technical foul on Sunday during the National Championship against LSU and fans were really upset about it.
Clark could be seen knocking the basketball out of bounds as her team began to huddle, which led to her being whistled for a technical foul. That moment also led to Clark’s fourth personal foul which came at a critical point in the second half when the Hawkeyes were trying to rally from a large deficit.
After the game, the referee explained why the technical was assessed to Clark.
LSU simply could not miss down the stretch as they won the game 102-85 to capture the national championship for the first time in program history.
Angel Reese made sure Clark knew about it.
